Esther Rading is a German artist, currently based in Düsseldorf, specialising in photography. Her work explores the delicate spaces between presence and absence, stillness and movement through photography. Rather than documenting reality, she evokes it — quietly, tenderly and with deep respect for the transient.

At the heart of her work is the concept of time, not as a linear sequence but as an emotional and perceptual dimension. Her images feel like echoes or memories: ephemeral, blurred and intangible. Everyday objects, reflections and surfaces appear not as background elements but as protagonists with their own presence and inner life.

Esther approaches her subjects with intimacy and care. Even in abstraction, her gaze remains soft and attentive, always preserving the dignity of what she portrays. Her works invite viewers to pause, listen closely and engage with the subtle nuances of perception.
